About

I’m a reporter based out of Moses Lake, WA.

I like writing about people, complex issues (the more technical the jargon, the better the challenge!) and ideas.

In the past, I was a freelance reporter for several weekly publications around the Seattle-area.

And in-between all that stuff, I worked as a video editor for a TV station in Seattle.

I’m revamping this blog for several reasons: to toot my own horn and showcase some works that I’m proud of and to experiment what visual works on the web and what doesn’t.

As a die-hard news person, I believe journalism is not dead. The platform in which the information is presented has changed. And I feel compelled to research on my own what that platform entails. Because, let’s be honest, I can’t really do many other jobs well after getting a sampling of the thrilling journalism schedule.
